Appearance requests allow someone to send an expiring invitation to a friend, a business partner, or a potential date to gauge their interest to meet in real life.

NoGhosts is the wingman who ensures you can connect with people IRL who value your time as much as you do. It helps you arrange appearances with people and minimizes complications, like automating day-of confirmations, to help you have meaningful, stress-free interactions.

As a user, you are in control, which means you can decide if you’d like your appearance requests to allow for a one-time extension, and how long until your appearance request disappears. You can always adjust those in your NoGhosts profile.

When sending, responding to, or completing appearances, NoGhosters earn points over time. If you decide to meet IRL, that earns points too. Why not get some kudos for just being a considerate human?

NoGhosts isn’t a rating system. Instead, we help nudge behaviors and recognize actions that benefit a community of people who use appearance requests.

Earned points cannot be lost. We aim to uplift behaviors while never penalizing.

If you send an appearance request, you can edit after sending or add new details, like a location to meet. If you make an error, you can cancel an appearance request at anytime.
